Description
The Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification.
This course is designed to provide an introduction to first aid for babies and children and enables candidates to respond to a range of emergency situations.
It is specifically intended for newly qualified level 2/3 childcare practitioners, or for those who have an interest in child or infant basic life support.
The course is recognised by Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and does meet Childcare Registration regulations.
It should be noted however that the requirements state that childcare settings must always have at least one fully qualified paediatric first aider available whenever children are present.
