Description
This course concentrates on ensuring that employees have the necessary information required to enable them to:
Raise the alarm.
Assist in the evacuation of a building
Know the different types of extinguisher, check an area, and communicate with those in charge.
It is a requirement that all employees have basic fire awareness training in the workplace and that employers appoint and train appropriate numbers of persons to act as fire Marshals
This fire marshal course also looks at the marshals’ active role in assisting the evacuation and their roles in line with your procedures.

The course will give delegates the ability to identify fire hazards, take charge in the event of a fire and understand the need for fire precautions.

Fire extinguisher use is available for fire marshal courses.
A clear area equivalent to 4 parking spaces is required for practical demonstrations. Due to insurance and local landlord requirements it is often not possible to start and then extinguish fires on companies’ premises. Please contact us for more details.
Number of Delegates
This course is suitable for up to a maximum of 12 delegates.

The course is suitable for all employees, but is especially suited for those employees identified as fire marshals, as well as supervisors and managers
Certification
Delegates will receive an A&S Safety attendance certificate on completion of the course
